In 2008, the Rotary Club of Winters embarked on one of best ever projects, service on the border between the US and Mexico. This was a very violent time on the border and we were cautioned against going. It was a life changing trip for many of us gaining an understanding of what is happening there first hand but mostly doing service to help others.
